2010 Breakaway

In the 2010 game, BREAKAWAY® , two alliances of three teams compete on a 27-by-54-foot field with bumps, attempting to earn points by collecting soccer balls in goals. Additional bonus points are earned for each robot suspended in air and not touching the field at the end of the match.

Our History

Awards: Entrepreneurship Award 

Events Attended: Kettering University FIRST Robotics District Competition, Ann Arbor FIRST Robotics District Competition, Michigan FIRST Robotics Competition State Championship, 

Schools: Salem High, Canton High, Plymouth High, and other schools.

Milestones: We improved our rookie education model, restructured the team, for the growth we were having, and improved our scouting and strategy at competitions. Formalized the Lead Mentor position. Mechanical group was split into Design and fabrication groups. Won the Entrepreneurship award for the first time
