How To Join
Welcome!
Lightning Robotics is open to any high school aged* student in the Plymouth-Canton area.
*8th Grade members are admitted on a limited, case-by-case basis with approval of team leadership.You are not required to be a Plymouth-Canton Educational Park or Plymouth-Canton Community Schools student.
You do not need to have prior robotics experience.
Students are encouraged to join early in the school year to maximize their experiences on the team.

January-February
Mondays 6:30-10:00PM Start in Canton CV-wing, team workspaces

Joining the robotics team was one of the best decisions I made in high school. I met a great group of friends and learned a lot of valuable technical and soft skills. This program opened many doors for me that I would never have had. Anyone who has interests in engineering or business should try joining the robotics team and join a great community of like minded students.

We need you to design t-shirts, buttons, website graphics, stickers, posters, and more.
Enjoy planning events?
We need you to create and run fun and interactive activities and demonstrations.
Curious about fundraising?
We need you to help gather support for our team and for our community.
Is animation your thing?
We need you to create exciting and informative animations.
Are you a storyteller?
We need you to present our team to the world.
Want to do some of those things but don’t yet know how?
