Mentors
Lightning Robotics would not be possible without the hard work and dedicated mentors. We are lucky enough to have a large group of volunteer mentors who work with our students to help the team succeed. Our mentors come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience both technical and non-technical.
On Lightning Robotics mentors work along side our students guiding and teaching them along the way. They enable our students to take the lead and make decisions.
Following our team organization structure mentors work in specific groups focusing on working with and building a rapport with the students in that group.
For more information on mentoring please contact us.
We would like to recognize one former mentor in particular, Eddie McClendon III, who died of cancer while mentoring our team.
