Lan Party

With school coming to a close and people soon having close to nothing to do I think that maybe we could throw some form of lan party. Either at somebody's house or rent out some place overnight, I am just trying to throw around ideas. Possible games we could play would be
1.)Counter Strike/Counter Strike Source
2.)Quake 3
3.)Super Smash Brothers
4.)RTCW:ET
5.)Mario Kart
6.)Old nostalgic games.
7.)Other Games

We could even have some tournaments and food could be provided if we had a small 10 /15 dollar fee to set stuff up. Maybe if we have extra money we could get some small prizes for the winners of tournaments.

i might be able to host if ppl bring the games and/or foods(but if no one brings food i live by a cvs so it will work out) havent said anything to my mom bout it but after finals im pretty open

Lets just set up a date and all go to the gate. I already know that a few of us are going thursday ($2/hr vs. the normal daily $4/hr)

(Tuesday and Thursday are $2/hr days there)

We can do allnights at the gate, its $20/person though. I might be able to get it lowered for us, but its probably a no.

I would go to a lan party, but doing it at the gate would be better for me since my computer sucks, and i i tried to take our better computer, which everyonr in the family shares, my parents might get mad

ya we are probily going to have on at the gate then have one at my house cause i was goign to have one any ways if my parent let me.

but ya on thursday a bunch of us are going to the gate after school and nerd it up there

I WOULD have been able to host a lan party at my house if it was not for the mishap that happened with a sub-pump... Long story short. Carpeting needs to get replaced and nobody will probbaly be able to go into my basement for about a month.

dont worry about it when i clean my basment and apeas my parents i'll be able to have on here specs i have so far is maybe 20 or 16 people including me and there will be a small fee for just the food and for the power for my parents. ya other than computers i think there will be x boxes with like 2 tvs for halo and some ps2 for some other games.

Phil thats great that we can have the pary in your basement. Perhaps we can get everything planned ahead of time everything runs smooth their. Like I said if their is a small fee maybe we can scrounge enough to get a prize for tournaments. I will be at The Gate tommrow. CS 1.6!
